Encore azalea
POSTED BY KIM — The weather has cooled down a little and I’m so pleased with my new little Encore Azaleas. They are blooming and loaded with buds. I’ve placed them on the north side of my house to offer a little protection this winter, so it will be interesting to see how they do next spring. (In the picture you can also see my little Kalmia mountain laurel ‘Minuet.’)
Look at those gorgeous flowers! My fingers are crossed that they’re tough enough to withstand a St. Louis winter….
